Goodbye 2020 Hello 2021

What I like this Wednesday is that it is the last Wednesday of 2020! Never before have I been so thankful to see the end of a year, but let’s face it, 2020 has not been an ordinary year. In the words of Queen Elizabeth it has been a year only described as Annus Horriblus. At times it has felt as if the apocalypse was upon us. As horrible as this year has been it has taught us many lessons. Hopefully, we have learned to slow down and enjoy the things that are most important to us. So as this year comes to a close we know our lives will never be “normal” again, but I imagine 2021 will be a new beginning to an even better chapter —-the rainbow after the worst storm of our lives.
